Mr. McGranery had suggested the Tax Division keep in close touch with the FBI as possibly the Bureau in its inquiries in the waterfront investigation in New York might turn up something of interest on Anastasia which the Tax Division should know about. yoy ay bot stated he was ready to submit his recommendations ~ on the tax case now and wanted to talk to whoever in the Bureaé was handling the waterfront matter insofar as Anastasia was con- : cerned, was advised a check would be made and he would ~~ be called.
