O-19 (11-22-55) Mystery *. | Letter ‘Not > To Maclean’ LONDON, Feb. 14 9 — The Foreign Office tonight officially denied the existence of a letter jfrom a,mysterious American to Donaté- Maclean the renegade British diplomat who skipped to Moscow in 1951/ Farlier today, Sir George Young, chief spokesman of the [Foreign Office, had said such a jletter had been discovered be- itween the pages of a book in the library of the British Em- bassy in Cairo.
