Included in these photostats was @ report dated March 1, 1944, captioned "Joseph W. Weinberg, Raciation Laboratory, Berkeley, California. fT According to this report Joseph W. Weinberg was employed with the Theoretical Group at the Radiation Laboratory at the University of California, working on the D.S.M. project. On March 29, 1943, Weinberg gave Steve Kelson, Secretary, Communist Party of Alameda County, and an operative of the Comintern Apparatus, information concerning the basic conceptions behind the D.S.M. project, and an estimate of the time necessary to complete the work.
