Co, 1944 - 1948. On 5-25-51 tn company with Burgess he fled from England and traveled to Russia, Burgess was born in England tn 191] and worked for the British Broadcasting Corporation from 1935 to 1938j. S He was with the Brittsh Foreign Office 1944 =.19¢6 and from 1948 to 1951. He served tn the United States from August, 1950 until his recall in May, 1951.
