mimeographed letter dated October 11, 1947, on the letterhead
of the Emergency Committee of Atomic Scientists, Incorporated,
located at Room 28, 90 Nassau Street, Princeton, New Jersey,
and signed by A. einstein.
The letter was disseminated in solicitng funds for
the committe to help in its "campaign of education to ensure
that atomic energy wil] be used for the benefit of man':ind
and not for humanity's destruction".
