This Supplement carried a discussion on the World Congress of Intellectuels held in Wroclaw, Polend in Areust, 1948. The U.S. section of this congress was to be held March 25-27, 1949, in New York City, It was disguised as a "Culturel and Scientific Conference for World Peace", under auspices of the National Council of Arts, Sciences end Professions, The Supplement also csrried & "Condensed Who's ¥ho of some of the 1c ading Commmnists whe are to speak in the congress or are sponsoring it o+.. plus a few other well-knowm sponsors who aren't CP members (at least not openly) Wit have supported Communist fronts." The follewing is aqueted from the Whe's ¥he rentioned above; "Einstein, Albert 4.. The prince of modern sclontists, this supreme genius who is regarded by many scientists as one of the greatest intellects of ell history, has supported many Communist fronts, It's trie that once in a long while he has ventured a mild dissent from some Moscow policy, but his weight has been overwhelmingly on Moscow's side." The "Covnterattack" is a weskly newsletter copyrighted by American Business Consultants, Ince, with headquarters at 55 West 42nd Street, New York City.
