YORK, Dec, 27.—Dr.
Albert dineteln whose theaty of
jrelativity helped open up the whole
‘vast fleld of atomic research, has
put forward an even more aensa-
ional theory.
He calls it “e generalized theory
gravitation.”
It ls a mathematical description
‘the mystery of gravity—the
mon force that keeps our feet
fp the for and rules the move-
rents of the stars,
If it can be proved, it will ‘pe-
‘come a “universal law” and, in
the view of other scientists, will
stand as the highest scientific
‘hievement of all time.:
It would explain every physical
jotion in the universe, from the
ide of an atom to the enormous
les of outer space,

had shown that space and time,
instead of being separate, were
both parts of a “space-time con-

As one result of the 1905 theory,
Dr. Einstein wrote an equation
