On June 14, 1962, debris boat sweeping bay area one-half nile east of Alcatraz retrieved two packets fashioned from raincoat- Saad type erial sealed in manner used in preparation of Mae West jackets by subjects. Packets contained photographs and papers connected with Anglin brothers. Also retrieved in the whirlppol were old innertubes and paddle-like pieces of wood. Debris boats, continuing sweeping operations, have located no additional objects or bodies. Coverage to trace any possible movement indicating presence of the escapees is continuing.
