By communication dated July 3, 1962, 1nformation was received from the FBI Laboratory that_t erial taken out of the holes in the cell wall of inmate consisted essentially of small lumps and loose particles of neat Portland cement mixed with small particles of lime mortar, sand grain, small wood particles and paint chips. The Portland cement has had some moisture in it but it was not believed to have had enough moisture to form a slurry. ‘The length of time the cement was In use could not be determined.
