On November 25, 1957, the INS obtained a warrant
for the subject charging him with violation of Section 241al
of INS Act of December 29, 1952, in order to show cause why
hie snould not be deported, and charging Gambino, a national
* of Italy wio entered the United States on December 23, 1921,
: at Norfolk, Virginia, with being a stowaway on the ''SS Vincenzo
Florio,"
On November 3, 1958, Gambino appeared before an
NS Deportation Hearing; however, he complained of chest
pains and was removed to a hospital. The hearing was post-
poned, and, to date, no nev hearing has been scheduled.

“Regarding your (INS) questions about whether lr.
Gambino can take part in deportation proceedings: it is our
opinion that he may be served papers and interrogated without
risk to the patient. It is possible that under the condition
of emotional cxecitement, if, Gambino will have episodes of
angina pectoris pain, Tiese can be readily controlled by
patient taking nitroglyccrin tablets. We suggest that the
