New orteans, Louisiana, on July 18, 1963: bed A veview of the New Orleans FBI Office files concerning escapees reveals that JOHN ANGLIN was born in Georgia in either 1930 or 1931. ANQLIN's parents, brothers and sisters are living in Florida and California and ANGLIN was never arrested in New eans. There 18 no indication, from a review of the interviews of the relatives of ANGLIN that any of them live in or near the New Orleans area. ANGLIN's background seems to indicate that he was raised in Florida due to the fact that he attended one year of high school there. ¢ police officers during the Mardi Gras season of either 1957 or 1958.
