Pomeroy, \ would recontact the Bureau in the next month to six weeks. During the original interview, oe lindicated that she would recontact the writer before going ahead with an Official request for information from our files. Apparently they ~ _have in mind making an official request for pornographic material from or through the Bureau. : . : UNRECORDED COPY Fil A check of Bufiles reveals that in June and July 1957, our Indianapolis + Office was in contact with officials of the captioned Institute in an attempt to ‘ obtain information regarding the source of supply of obscene material received by them in their research. Nothing to the advantage of the Bureau was developed due to the policy of the Institute not to disclose the source of its material.
