Dr. Alfred C. Kinsey, American Zoologist; born June 2. }, 1894,
at Hoboken, New Jersey; son of Alfred Sequine and Sarah Ann (Charlee)
Kinsey; educated at Bowdoin College, B.S. 1916; Harvard Untversity, Sc.D.
1920; married Clara Bracken McMillen, June 3, 1921 and has four children.
He was assistant in Zoology at Harvard University, 1917-19; assistant in
Botany, 1918-19; assistant professor of Zoology at Indiana University,
1920-233 associate professor, 1923-29; professor since 1929. In charge
of btologtc exploration in Mexico and Central America, 1931-32 and 1935-
36; in charge of National Research Council case history study on Human
Sex Behavior since 1943, Kinsey ts a member of the American Soctety of
~ Genetics; American Soctety of Naturalists (Secretary, 1941-43); American
