There ts very little information of value tn the Bureau's files
on Dr. Alfred C. Kinsey. He requested Uniform Crime Reports fron the
Government Printing Office on. July 9, 1942, The tnqutry was referred to
he Bureau and he was Gdutsed that due to the acute Paper shortage the
bulletin had been restricted in dtstribution to duly constituted law
enforcement officers. He was referred to the UCR bulletins furnished to
the library of Indiana University. (33-1-16-306)

delphia concerning the Youth Welfare und Service Club. Dr. Kinsey stated
he had never heard of the organization nor had he ever heard of anyone
attempting to use the manual entitled "The Youth Welfa ad Service Club”
at Indtana University, Dr. Kinsey ezplained to Agent Inte duties as
Professor of Zoology at Indiana State University and tor im the high=
lights of his sez research project then under way. (71-1852-13)
- The March, 1948 issue of "Austro Anerican Tribune" carried a
book revtew of the Kinsey Report on Page 8 and on page 3, Fritz Vogelsang
states, "Science too makes use of the methods of nass interrogation for
tts purposes. Prof, Kinsey and his co-workers recently published a book
on the serual life of the Amertcan man, which is based on the answers
of 12,000 persons. As experts assure us, the important and sensational .
results of this work of research could scarcely have been achieved in any
