The Committee is the expression of only a small religiovs group, but it enlists the support of many other like-minded people of all denominations, Tocay, the.Comnittee maintains a wide ranre of projects at home and abroad—the care of destitute children in war-rvined Europe, notably Fraice; aid to refugees of many nationalities in many parts of the world; efforts to rehabilitate the families of the permanently unemployed coal miners and cotton sharccroppers; work cams for young people secking to mcke a contribution to the Nation's welfare through constructive labor; educational projects throurh which Americans may gain knorlod:e of the conditions underlying racial, class and internaticnel conflicts.
