5. Representatives of the STUDENT RELOCATION COIMMITTEX have been visit-
ing evacuated Japanese in the assembly and relocation centers for the purpose
of enrolling Japanese students in Universities and Colleres located in the
central and eastern States as a rehabilitation project.
4. The FELLOWSHIP OF RECONCILIATION with offices adjacent to the FRILNDS
CHURCH in Berkeley, California, has deported from the field.of assisting con-
selentious objectors by publicly criticizing the Japanese ovacuation prorram
~ and the facilities provided by the jiar Relocation Authority.
A pamphlet pub-
lished by this organization on December 9, 1941, entitled “ir Vey in the Midst
of Var" » contains the following statements
