I was quite disturbed to find, in part 3, testimony given by Karl APrussion, which seemed to definitely point to tue fact that tadAnerican Friends jsreing Comittee nad been infiltrated by some Communist Party activity. This testinony mey be found on pages 2199 and 2201. I have always supported and believed in tie Aierican Frienc Service Committee, csrecially their humanitarian relief work, 2 “which began followine World tar I. + nave sometimes disagreed $47 quite strongly with their political point of viw, ¢ smecially their pacifisn, which, I believe, leads tnem down tue "garden path." I nave objected to some of their literature, wnica I thought was unscholarly and even atitimes in sharp contrast to their avowed Christian and hunanitarian principles.
