The Washington, D.S, daily newspeper, "Tne Evening Star," on page A-1 of the April 28, 1961, issue contained an article entitled “'Pacifist' Groups Backing Vastro 4. Ticket CIA." The article dated April 28, 1961, xt New York set forth that leaders of the FPCS announsed plans the previous night for a two-week"vigil and hunger strike starting Sunday to be held in front of the Headquarters cf the SIA, | Washington, D.C. The article also states that RICHARD GIBSON, Publisher of the New York Chapter of the Comnittee and Acting National Secretary, stated tnat the demonstration was to.be staged in confunetion with several other "Facifist" groups.
