In the sun mer of 1964, Guerrero was one of a handful of native white Southerners who par- ticipated in the Mississippi Summer Project. Guerrero has been working with SSOC (Southern Student Organizing Committee) since then to encourage white peo- ple to join in the movement for social change in the South. For the past year he has worked with the trade union movement in North Carolina. He is presently Assistant Director of the Southern Student Humar Relations Project of the Na- tional Student Association.
