According to the article, "The Progressive Labor Movement was founded in 1662 by Milton Rosen. and Mortimer Scheer after they were expelled from the Communist Party of the United States for assertedly following the Chinese Cormunist ine." A source advised on June 3, 1968, that the PLP held its Second National Conveation in New York City, Way 31 to June’ 2, 1963, at which time the PLP reasserted its objective of the establiishnent of 2 militant working class movement based on Marxism-Leninisa. The source also advised that at the Second National Convention Milton Rosen was unanimously reelected Katioucl Chairman of the PLP and Levi Laub, Fred Jerome, Jared Israel, Willian Epton, Jacob Rosen, Jeffrey Gordon, and Waltcr Linder were elected as the National Comittee to lead the PLF until the next convention. The PLP publiskes "Progressive Labor," a bimonthly magazine, and "Challenge-Dssafio," a nonathly newspaper .
