issued by the HCPC, 935 Market Street, San Francisco, which reflected that ‘the AFSC and the Friends Committee on Legislation were to hold a day long conference on May 15, 1954 on the H-Bonb, and our "New Look" in foreign policy. The conference would explore the probabilities of American power “and our consequent responsibilities. ROSE advised on Septenber 7, 1955, that the FUL was made up entirely of members of the Religious Society of Friends for the purpose of carrying the policies of their church into a legislative progran. * Sen Francisco T-13, who has received leaflets from the NCPC through the mail, and who has advised that she has written the NOPC requesting them to stop sending her such literature, on February 28, 1955, furnished several . pieces of such literature. One piece issued by the MPC of 70 Market Street, San Frarcisco 2, Calife, containcd a list of leaflets, pamphlets or books which stated that a six page special Washington newsletter entitled "End Conscription" and issued by the AFSC could be obtained through the NCPC. ‘nother piece of literature wes 2 mimeographed one page "Peace + News"! issued by the MPC in San Frenéisgo entitled "Shall Americans Die , in Asia? No." The leaflet stated that many persons and organizations yrote President DISCMICTER requesting thet the United States stzy out of the new war in Asia. It stated the AFSC alerted Friends with a postcard "You? action now can counteract the pressures of the Iwar nowt advocates." PACIFIC CO'ST YOUTH RECCRDER (PCIR) = T-l, advised on April 5, 195h, that the Pacific Goast- Youth Recorder —.-. was the new official West Coast LYL publication, ‘ San Francisco T-31, who has furnished reliable information in the past, on September 7, 1954, furnished a copy of the June, 195, issue of the Pacific Coast Youth Recorder, which was given to him at a Daily Peoples World picnic on September 6, 1954.
