On August 28, 1969, a source, who has furnished Feliable information in the past, advised that during a recent conversation with Albert Rojas, a representative of the United Parm Workers Organizing Committee (UFWOC), and organizer of the grape boycott at Pittsburgh, it was learned that the UFWOC continued to demonstrate on Friday afternoon, from 4:30 pm to 9:00 pm, and on Saturdays from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, at the Kroger Supermarket in the Bloomfield District of Pittsburgh. The source further adveed that according to Rojas, generally, between 8 ts 12 people participate in these demonstrations, carrying signs, distributing literature and marching peacefully in front of the store. . The source said that in addition, several of the demonstrators have entered various Kroger Supermarkets in the Pittsburgh area, at irregular times, filled shopping carts, and then left them in the aisles with grape boycott literature.
