This source further ' advised that the demonstrations were being held to induce the Kroger Company to cooperate in the grape boycott at i Pittsburgh, in connection with attempts being made by the UFWOC to gain union recognition for grape pickers. The source said that no acts of violence or civil disobedience bad been planned. On June 21, 1969, the same source advised that from 6:00 p.m., to 9:00 p.m., June 20, 1969, and from 10:00 a.m., . to 3:00 p.m., June 21, 1969, the above mentioned picket demonstrations were held at five Kroger Supermarkets in the Pittsburgh area.
