Some will say we already have what we need in Guilford College. I heartily disagree. We do not need them. We need a red-blooded Auerican institution. I heve no objection to t Quakers doing their own building, although T disagree heartily with their racial teachings their attitudes toward the interne] and external defense of our beautiful land, Let ther on their own. Why should the rest of us aid in our own destruction? If everyone else had the attitude, there would be no Free America today for them te practice their religion and subx sive activities. ‘would you want anyone to discourage your sons from defending their countz in the armed services if need be? Or have your children taught by persons, however Jearnec whe believe in inter-mzrriage of the races and whe conscientiously object to service in the &rmed forces in defense of our country? Quaker activities bave been sc unattractive to red-blooded fmericans that there has De noticeable gain in their numbers of members in the twentieth century. It is one of the oldest yet one of the smllest in numbers of all the various denominations in America. Why should we help them put life ir what many of the Qurkers themselves consider a dying sect? should we help them sprea¢ their anti-‘mericar influence?
