Details: Data from aerosol challenges involving Bacillus
anthracis (Ba) for the time period August 1998 to September 1999
was analyzed to determine potential windows of opportunity for
removal of post-challenge Ames during a ten-day period following
each aerosol challenge. It was estimated based on spore .
concentrations of material used that any aerosol challenge
involving greater than or equal to three animals would constitute
enough available Ba to have assembled the anthrax-laced letters.
All Ames challenges in the time period for which key card access
