On 7/26/73, over 100 UFWU pickets appeared at the Bakersfield, ; California, Resident Agency, to make civil - rights complaints in connection with this Matter. Only one of the original 6 alleged victims was in the group. The pickets were 7 accompanied by a member of the UFWU legal 7 ae ~ office and 2 employees of the Justice Department's Community Relations Service. Pickets were orderly and no known press , coverage; interviews continuing. Matter being discussed with the Department and instructions will be issued to Sacramento.
