SA 62-New ‘ The Los Angeles Divison made available a copy of a leaflet distributed by the DuBois Clubs at Los Angeles which was an appeal to raise money, food, and clothes for the strikers, Although CHARLES McKINLEY SMITH (supra) has reportedly helped NELGON in this matter, based on data available to the San Antonig Division, it is believed a COMINFIL investigation 1d instituted by San Antonio at i ae Dy pu y e and has said he is not a communist. The Los Angeles Division should furnish any available information to San Antonio reflecting subversive activity on the part of EUGENE NELSON or DOLORES HUERTA or any information reflecting communist influence in the IWA or NFWA. Houston should furnish San Antonio any intormation available refiecting communist influence or infiltration in this matter by any persons from the Houston Division area inasmuch as NELSON headquartered in Houston prior to moving to the San Antonio Division area. Unless further inicrmation is received refiecting communist infiltration in this strike, San Antonio is conducting no COMINFIL investigation.
