MISCELLANEOUS - INFORMATION CONCERNING
On 7/21/66, 20 members of National Farm Workers
Association (NFWA, Local No. 2, continued their march
covering about 12 miles and two dropped out. The others
were scheduled to arrive at Falfurrias, Texas, afternoon
of 7/22/66, where motel reservations had been made and a
rally was planned atKnights of Columbus Hal 5 p.m.
The marchers included the Reverend ANTONIQZ@ONZALES,
Catholic_Priest, and the Reverend JAMES EZ NOVARRO, Baptist Ay”.
Minister, both of Houston, Texas. These two clergymen were
to leave for Corpus Christi, Texas, before the rally
began to heip plan the marchers’ arrival at Corpus Christi.
A big rally at Corpus Christi was reported to be in planning
stages for 7/30/66. :
