Dr. IVINS was also reminded of guidance he had provided early on in the investigation regarding colony morphologies and Bacillus anthracis Ames strain Li IRIID. In January of 2002, Dr. IVINS had provided with a hand-drawn diagram to give to investigators during interview. The hand-drawn diagram outlines the USAMRIID Ames strain lineage, with a comparison to the Daschle material, and_leads and directs investigators to focus their attention on the [_}tineage and not the IVINS lineage.
