Henry Ford stated that. _ he asked Colonel Charles A.“Lindberg to come out to Detroit — and to visit him at the plant because he wanted to talk to Lindberg about Lindberg's attitude toward the Jews. Henry Ford told Bugas that he had heard a speech which Lindberg had made several nights before, and Ford did not like some of the things which Lindberg had said about the Jews. Accordingly, he asked Lindberg to come out and see him 80 that he could give some views on that score. Lindberg was out there about four weeks ago, and - while Ford did not know the ezact date, he stated he would check sor his files and advise Bugas. =. ww Henry Ford stated that Lindberg had stayed overnight and that the conversations were principally about Jewish matters. Henry Ford does not recall any conversations on the part of Lindberg with regard to Lindberg's obtaining or securing information from the War | Department. Specifically esked, Henry Ford stated that he did not recall Lindberg fs talking woikeatatenes any information from any Army officer or making any otWer statement with respect to the drmy or armed forces.
