Lopez stated Oscar Ewing, the Special Prosecutor, would like to have the Bureau files checked, and have forwarded today by air mail, special delivery any informa- tion which would be of assistance to him in cross-examining these witnesses. Lopez understood Ewing would make a similar request of the Department to check its files. I advised him that we would check our files and forward the available information.
