A claim was made thet Inzalls had been placed in the worst jail in the country. Barbara Brigham adnitted that inralls never rissed a trip_to Washincton, D. C., but that she was not the leader, as the newspapers indicated. It was sugsested that the America First c ttee take up the Insalls case in court. There seems to be nothine definite tc the effect that the america First Comittee will assume the defense of Laure In-ells at the trial in this case, and in view of the previous advise civen the Department r.garding the interest of Barbara Brizham and Enil orosini in this matter, no attexpt will be made to submit the informa- tion rezardinz linabergh and the activities of the America First Cormittee to the Department, until it appears more pertinent to the trial of this case.
