According to IVINS, the article detailed the results of the environmental surveys conducted at USAMRIID in April 2002. IVINS claimed that the article disclosed information that was confidential to the FBI. IVINS indicated that he was upset to see the information made public. IVINS believed the following statement to be confidential to the FBI: "Three different anthrax strains - two infectious and one a harmless vaccine - were detected outside biosafety labs."1?
