On_01/30/2004y saL___] retrieved the then irradiated sample from and transported it to suite B-5, where IVINS set up two (2) blood agar plates and one (1) liquid culture to / check the irradiated sample for viable organisms. The irradiated | sample was resealed with evidence tape and secured in room i until such time as the viability check was confirmed. On 02/02/2003, IVINS contacted SA[__]to advise that the irradiated sample was negative\for viable organisms. SA obtained the samples from AMRIID, transported and secured the sample at the Keld Office. The transfer of evidence was dosumented with a "Receipt of Property", FD-597, which is stored in the FD-340 section of the file. The certificates of irradiation and non-viability were submitted to the 1A section of the file.
