CHAMBLISS and JOHN WESLEY HALL were continued until June 3, 1964, These cases were scheduled to be heard by Circuit Judge GEORGE LEWIS BAILES. The defendants had been tried and convicted in City Court, Birmingham, Alabama, for illegal possession of dynamite after arrest by state officials under the personal direction of Col, AL LINGO, Director, Department of Public Safety, State of Alabama, and defendants appealed to Circuit Court.
