The "New York Times" dated 7/27/63, page 8, contained an article captioned "Dr. King Tells Role of His Accused Aide,” which article was datelined 7/26/63, at Atlanta, Georgia. According to this article, MARTIN LUTHER KING had stated that O'DELL had left his organization, the SCLC, for the second time on 6/26/63, and was no longer associated with it.
