Soil samples from a paliet and from the floor of the interior of this power ‘ house were obtained for possible future comparison. An examination of the second power house revealed tool marks on the hasp portion, and the agflindér block portion of the padlock to the door of this second power house. These tank marks appear to be similar to those that would be made with some type of sawing instrument such asia hacksaw. This padlock is being retained for possible future spectographic comparison examination. At a point approximately twenty feet, Southwest, of the secomi power hause on the extension of the rock road running past, a ballpoint pen, black with silver trim, bearing the lettering Southern Screw Company, Statesville, North Carolina, was found. Fingerprint examination of the doors to both power houses, the remaining padlock, - and the men did not develop any latents of value. Dirt samples from the area immediately adjacent to the door of the second power house were obtained for possible future. comparison examination. Photographs of the two buildings were obtained.
