On Septexber 21, 1950, Mark nateoma, a Chicago fruit broker, who hendled the Ferrera juice grape purchases: in 1929 on a joint accomt of Adanson and Ferrera, and Mamny Schrieber talked to Perry Stern, assistant to Irrgang and an auctionser in the United States Fruit duction Company at the Atcheson, Topekm end Santa Fe track on 2ist and Archer Streets, Chimec, Illinois, Lr. ‘Schrieber atated to Mr. Stern that the representatives of the juioeg grape growers fron Californis were caning into Chicago am selling juices grapes at lower prices than the market price and that these representa- tives would be prevented fram doing this after Schriper had organized the juice grape merket.
