OT OCT T7193 an sS Un the afternoon of the 15th instant, a -% telegram wes received by the writer from Special Assistant to the Attorney General Oseas at Chicago, requesting that contact be made with the offic of Mr. Teague member of the Farm Board for the purpose of ascertaining the correct name and address of one Mr. Taggart, mentioned in a letter addreased Mr. Teague by Mr. Eustace, which letter hed been for- werded to the Bureau som days ago by Mr. Teague. I communicated with Mr. Teague'’s office end ascertained that he was out of town wt lesrned through his Secretary that jhe probably hed no personal knowledges of the address of Mr. Taggart. His Secre- tary, however, agreed to telegraph Mr. Eustace in Calif. and to "advise this office promptly upon receipt of a reply. In the meantime, a telegram wes forwarded to the Chicago office, advising that Taggart's initials were V. C. and that efforts were being mede to learn hie address. This morning Mr. Tearue'ts office called by telephones ent stated that a reply had been received from Mr. Eustace, stting that MY, Taggart's correct neme was V¥. C art and that he was employed by the Fry Broker@ge Company on Racine Avenue, 14th Place, Chicago in the south water mrket neighborhood.
