2- Adwinistration of twenty-two CIVILIAN PUBLIC SERVICE Campa for
Conscientious Objectors throurhout the nation has been placed in the hands

3. Representatives of the STUDENT RELOCATION COMMITIER have been visit-
ing evacuated Japanese in the assembly and relocation centers for the purpose
of enrollinc Japanese students in Universitics and Colleres located in the
' central and eastern States as a rehabilitation project. _
4. The FELLOWSHIP OF RECONCILIATION with offices adjacent to the FRILNDS
CHURCH in Berkeley, California, has departed from the field.of assisting con-
scientious objectors by publicly criticizing the Japanese ovacuation prorpran
. and the facilities provided by the liar Relocation Authority. A pamphlet pub=
lished by this organization on December 9, 1941, entitled“ ry vay in the Lidst
of War" » contains the following statements:
— "Shocked as we fre by the manner in which the Japanese-Anerican
confliot was precipitated and conscious of the gruvity and complexity
