During the last few years Ihave been increasingly disturbed by the policies nd the activities of the American Friends Service Committee,’ Ihave come to tise conclusion that, if this is the official policy and activity of the Society of Friends, I shall have to dissociate myself from the Society of Friends. This is not merely a personal conclusion. Friends in the Middle West have come to me to ask what they can do to protest the policies and the activities of the Service Committee, They have said that they deebly deplore these palictes and activities, but they can find no way in which their protest is listened to or acted on.
