"Cited as a 'new organization? set up in the Summer of 1940 to lead and direct the Communist Party's tOperation Abolitiont campaign. A source has advised that the NCAUAC changed its name on March 3, 1962, to include the word "House" in its name, thereby becoming known as the . National Committee to Abolish the House Un-American Activities Comnittea (NCAHUAC). A second source advised on June 28, 1965, that as of that date the NCAHUAG continued to function with headquarters at 555 North Western Avenue, Los Angeles, California.
