He advised he does not now recall what discussions took place at this particular directors’ meeting but thut tho minutes would speak for themselves, He also related that at the time of tho above directors’ meeting, or shortly thercafter, he suw a list of the stock- Sid ae USPC which reflected STOREN held @@shures, COKKINIS sharas, CARVbR held shuros and BsRENSON held ip number of shurcs nov reculled), with the remaining stock being in the nam of a foreign corporution, the name of which he does not recull but which company is commonly referred to as “ONASSIS' Company", He stuted that te could not recali the way ho learned that this foreign compin y was controlled by ONASSIS, ~STOREN advised he supervised tha cleaning, repairing ‘and fitting for servico of all seven tmkers purchased by USPC (not including the two later obtuined from Pacific Tankers, Inc.) and was paid for his services at the rate of #5,000.00 per vessel. He advised the #5, 000,00 figure was suggested by BERENSCN and pointed out that the matter of fee was not discussed at the beginning whon ONASSIS originally requested him to go to Philudelphia and take a look at the T-2 tunker there. In this connection he stated ho had performd services for ONASSIS for a number of years and on frequent occasions performed minor services without charge to ONASSIS, or at least did not discuss the matter of fee until after the services hud becn performed, oO STOREN advisod he was principally interested in the enginevcring und opsrational end of USPC und did not trouble himself with the churtering und finuncing probicms in con- nection with the vessuls involved, Ho stuted he did not know the source of USPC funds except that he does recull from overe- heuring discussions ut vurious directors! metings, that USPC borrowéd monies from vurious banks.
