Oph EBS In June, 1951, Bishop Sheen was consecrated a Bishop at Rome,
and it wis the first consecration in a century at Rome of an American Priest
who had not lived or been a seminarian in that city. Hie nephew, Fulton J.
_ Sheen III, who was a student at Louvain University, where the Bishop also
+ studied, was one of the guests at the consecration. Immediately efter becoming
_ -' ‘a Bishop in Rome, Bishop Sheen left his own group for a private audience with
