Free breakfast for children program This program has been operated sporadically since September, 1971, at BPP Headquarters, 1333 North Patterson Street, Winston-Salem, North Carolina. The program is operated under the direction of MARY McDONALD and feeds an average of & to 10 children each day when operating. This program is used as a basis for soliciting donations from local merchants and achieving local support from the community. It ceased operation at the close of school May, 1972, and has not started again since. b. Free pest control program This program has been in effect since January, 1972 and is administered by GRADY ‘FULLER and RUSSELL McDONALD. c. Free clothing program Tank IBER OF SULIZCT CiGsa TL ON This prograny was launched under the direction of BPP member BEATRICE /FULTON and scheduled its first |. distribution of free clothing on March 18, 1972. FULTON and GRADY FULLER have been contacting residents and merchants soliciting donations of new and used clothes. The program functions on a limited basis and clothing is distributed whenever it is obtained. 2. Training Programs Periodic training sessions and educational classes are held at BPP Headquarters on Wednesday evenings.
