Brother Milton Fitch, right here. He'll put out to y'all, and he'll £ix y'all real nice. The following speech was made by MILTON /F ITCH: “Listen. I'm from a strange breed, you know. I come from this organization known as the Southern Christian Leadership Conference. You know, Martin organized it and led it, fought. for freedom and equality, and a lot of people say, you know, that. all non-violent thing is a thing of the past. But we don't think it's a thing of the past. But we come here today for one special reason. You see, I'm black and you're black. You're oppressed and I'm oppressed. And I'll be damn, we got tm stick together until we get this thing off our backs. “New, you see, a lot of people look at this thing in a lot ef different ways. He's the only black man I've ever known to walk out of the Governor's office, turn off the legislature, do so many things, take over a judge's chambers, and some of everything fighting for freedom, fighting for equality. He's the leader of the SCLC in the state of North Carolina, and I think you ought to hear from him and not from me, because it's too cold out here for me to talk a lot. So I want to introduce the Field Secretary for the SCLC, Brother Golden Frinks. Let's give Gelden 3 big hand. Come on Golden. Right on, power to the people, power.” The following speech was made by GOLDEN. FRINKS: (PFRINKS bsgins by singing, all of werds not entire intelligible.) “Power to the people, fight black power to the African people . .. (next few words unintelligible).
