G. Coulter TITLE: CHARACTER OF CABE: St. Paul FteNo-26-2528 CLYDE BARROW, et al. NATIONAL MOTOR VEHICLE THEVT ACT. THEFT CF GOVERNMENT PROPERTY. SYNOPSIS or FACTS: Peace officers in southern Mimmasota, western Wisconsin, and the State Bureau of Criminal Apprehension of Minnesota notified that BARROW was headed toward the state on July 24, 1935, reported seen near Blue Earth, Minnesota, on the eame date but nothing further learned of his whereabouts. RUC. DETAILS : At St. Paul, Minnesota Investigation in captioned case was predicated on a telephone call from Special Agent ©. C. Dewey of the Kansas City Bureau office from Dellas Center, Iowan, at 2:20 p.m, July 24, 1935. In substance he advised that BARROW, with possibly three other men, one of whom might be 30B BRADY, had ea shooting serap with officera in that vicinity and were last seen about noon at Luverne, Iowa, headed toward Minnesota driving e 1950 model dark colored Chevrolet Coach bearing Iowa license No. 77-13662. He stated BARROW was wented for the robbery of an armory eat Enid, Oklahoma, and thet he was wanted for violation of the National Motor Vehicle ee theft Act.
