Later in the afternoon, the Sheriff called from Alue Eerth, Minnesota, and advised that about two hours previously the car in question had been seen in the vicinity of Blue Earth headed north. ‘This matter was then taken up with MELVIN PASSOLT, Superintendent of the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, State Office Building, St. Paul, and he promised to communicate information to his investigators. Also, previous to this time the informa- tion was furnished the St. Paul and the Minneapolis Police Departments by Special Agent John V.
