MBRMORANDULM FOR THE ATTORNEY GEUERAL.

There is transmitted the following data received fron
this Burezu's Philedelphia office relative to the so-called Children's
Mareh expected to arrive at Washington on Thanksgiving Day. This is
supplemental to memorandum of November 21, relative to the same subjecs.
Qne Ernest Rymer, Secretary of the Young Pioncers of
fmerica, Philadelphia Branch, 219 South Sth. Street, cffords the folle.-
ing information, He states thet there are at present enroute to Vashiug-~
ton about 150 children from the textile centers of Massachusetts, fro::
New York City, New Haven and Bridgeport, Comiccticut, from Pittsburgh
and Philedelphia, Pennsylvania, and from Vilmington, Delaware. The
delegations from other than Philadelphia anc Wilmington sre supposed t:
have already started for Washington in privately owned cars, or whetever
transportation was obtainable, some of them probably coming by truck.
The children are supposed to be accompanied by women nurses. The chiic-
ren are especially picked from the various schools throughout the east.

in the form of $50.00 a month for the jobless perents and $10.00 additivaal
for each child, end to demend that the Federal Government set &@side suivicient
money to establish Federal relief stations all cver the countzy in ordc. to
provide every unemployed worker's child with a quart of milk dally, « ht
meal daily, free medical aid, carfare, school books, etc; to demend tha
there be no discrimination between colored, foreign born and other chilsren
and.to demand the abolition of child lubor on the part of children under
