Prior to my attendance at the Committee,-I thoroughly briefed Mr. IRVING JAFFE and Mr. IRVING GOLDBLOOM of the : Department of Justice as to what I intended to discuss during a the interview. Both of these men were extremely courteous and helpful. The latter, Mr. GOLDBLOOM, joined me during the sy questioning period at the sub-committee. My interview was conducted by the following members cated of the staff at 2:30 p.m. in Room G308 of t New Senate Office D Building. It should be noted Mr. SILVERSTEIN is a personal friend of mine since he had served in the United States Attorney's Office in Miami in the past. When he accidentally ran into me in the hall, he was dismayed that I was called by the young interrogators to Washington and Aaid if he had realized it, he would have sent wn to talk to me in Miami.
